sign-ups for a royal dragon hunt
Hello noble Fade Rifters,
Herian and Elros have the honour of assisting with a dragon hunt, with the following specifications:
In the ic interest of ensuring King Markus' safety and the ooc interest of not having Herian and Elros be unceremoniously mangled, we're opening sign ups for more characters to be involved, and then will select in a couple days using RNG. The goal is for the log to go up in the beginning of December.
We're currently thinking two more characters, with a view to having them break into pairs to dragon wrestle, but if there's a lot of interest we'll reconsider numbers.

Herian and Elros have the honour of assisting with a dragon hunt, with the following specifications:
King Markus is on his last legs, and one of the chief regrets of his long (and otherwise successful and peaceful) reign is that he has never taken advantage of the reappearance of dragons to join his ancestors among the ranks of dragon-slayers. His courtiers have tried to fend this off, but the king has grown increasingly insistent. Given the Inquisition's dragon-slaying experience and interest in maintaining a good relationship with the king in the time he has left, they've offered to assist and see to it that Markus gets to (safely) add this to his resume. The Inquisition team will travel to the royal hunting lodge above Hunter Fell and from there higher into the mountains to a site identified by a member of court.
There, they'll encounter two mature dragons, the second a surprise. Their goals are (i) to soften the dragons up to a point where Markus, despite being barely able to walk unaided, can take the killing blows, (ii) make sure the king does not get injured, and (iii) play nice and put on a good show for the courtiers that have come to observe.

QUESTIONS AND SUCH.
no subject
Skills: A talented swordsman and archer with centuries of combat experience.
Previous dragon experience? Faced and drove back a young Glaurung, Father of Dragons back in Arda. Has not yet encountered one in Thedas.
Notes: None
no subject
Skills: Master swordsman, experienced hunter and tracker, and he can probably help calm the dragons with song just enough for others to get close!
Previous dragon experience? None personally! But he can tell STORIES about those who have! Including Elros' dad's mighty slaying of the last great dragon >D
Notes: Like Maglor would willingly/happily let Elros out of his sight against a bloody dragon D:

Skills: Talented with sword, daggers, a bow (and arrows obviously). He is also a practiced leader who can keep his calm in horrible situations.
Though his fiery temper doesn't hurt in a dire situation. He's got a lot of raw strength on his side.Previous dragon experience? None that I know of, though Arda had too many of them at one point and Maedhros got an eye full when he was trapped in Morgoth's clutches.
Notes: Elros comes with his foster-fathers.
no subject
Skills: Fighting (warrior, Templar stuff, Warden stuff), drawled vowels, eyebrows.
Previous dragon experience? counts on fingers
Notes: Nah.
no subject
Skills: Knight-enchanter, force mage, significant combat experience
Previous dragon experience? n/a

no subject
Skills: Two-handed warrior, Spirit Warrior specialization
Previous dragon experience? Does a swarm of dragonlings count?
Notes: n/a
no subject
Skills: A Grey Warden, and warrior with the reaver specialization, primarily using two-handed swords in combat.
Previous dragon experience? YES! A little while back, he took a small party out to slay a dragon off in the mountains. He also obsessively studies dragons, so they're a great personal interest of his, basically he knows his stuff when it comes to all dragon things.
Notes: Nope!
