WAR TABLE ASSIGNMENT: BURN BOOK PT 2

WAR TABLE ASSIGNMENT: BURN BOOK PT 2, BURN BOOK STRIKES BACK
WHAT: Antiva is a center of trade, ruled theoretically by King Fulgeno but in practice controlled by a dozen or so merchant princes who largely favor neutrality in the war.
Riftwatch (read: John) would like to change that, ergo John will be recruiting people to covertly visit Antiva City to try and make some headway on shifting public opinion using his favorite method: shameless gossip.
HOW: Our heroes will be charged with distributing seditious materials throughout the city, similar to what was airdropped over the Anderfels troops: pamphlets, flyers, broadsides, etc proclaiming Corypheus' connections to darkspawn, emphasizing that supporting the Venatori flies in the face of the Divine, the Maker, Andraste, common decency, etc, and urging people to rise up in opposition to trade with Tevinter. The goal is to spread these materials through the city so they're seen and picked up by the average Antivan citizen.
However, it's crucial that they are not recognized as Riftwatch agents, to preserve the headway Riftwatch has made in befriending some of the merchant princes. This is a high stealth assignment, folks.
John would like this to be an ongoing effort rather than one concentrated blitz, anyone signing up will either be paired off or left to recruit their own partner to visit Antiva over the course of a month, rather than everyone going once in a big group. I can RNG a partner for you out of those signed up, or you can pull in someone of your own choosing and a set of obstacles for your characters to wrangle along the way.
Beyond that? The world is your oyster. This is meant to be low impact and super flexible, so you can make it as much or as little of an adventure as you like. Deciding on the method of distribution and how to approach it is all up to you, so long as it's done sneakily. Thread it or chat about the aftermath or roll it into another misadventure as the mood strikes, so long as it is referenced and reports are filed accordingly.
WHOMST: The limit does not exist, though there is a preference for anyone who can operate stealthily and move through Antiva without being noticed.
WHEN: I'll close this up on August 31st, so you can drop in at any point over the course of the month and I'll accommodate you.

Observation of the chantry building will show that there is a caretaker, Gilbert Pelagia, who often does his work late at night so as not to disturb the daily workings of the Chantry.
The Reverend Mother Ermelinda typically dines out, and leaves the Chantry building in early evening with several sisters in tow. She arrives early to the Chantry, typically around breakfast time, with the Chantry brothers and sisters arriving shortly after to begin the days work. There is an active and large number of lay-bretheren that come and go during the daytime, but typically are dismissed from their works just before Reverend Mother Ermelinda takes her leave.
Any of these individuals can be approached on the street, and their comings and goings are very easily observed. The patterns of activity in the Antiva City chantry seem reliably routine, and it seems that apart from Gilbert, there is typically a stretch of time in the dead of night where the Chantry itself is unoccupied. The city guard presence is higher around the Chantry, but also reliably routine, with the guards making looping sweeps around the building in the course of their nightly patrols.
Approach this task in whatever way appeals to you, with as many dance partners as appeal to you. If you need any specific information on activities within the Chantry, the caretaker, Reverend Mother, or any of other potential NPCs and security risks surrounding the Chantry, please consider me at your disposal.
Please include a summary of her exploits in a report, which should be posted by AUGUST 31ST.

Mado + Bastien will be given the address of a local print shop that produces Antiva's local gazette. Their mission: stuff the finished products with anti-Tevinter pamphlets and Corypheus info sheets before the squadron of local paper boys arrive to pick up and distribute the gazette across the city.
Typically, the gazettes are fully printed, folded and bound by midnight. The printer, Zacharias Epifanio, dismisses his four apprentices and often stays in the shop for another half hour before locking up and walking home. The shop is also home to a pair of scrappy cats that come and go as they please through a cut hole in the door facing the alley.
There is no exact time as to when the first of the delivery boys arrive, but observation will mark the most ambitious arriving as early as dawn, so it's safe to say they'll need to have completed their work prior to sun up, assuming they are planning to do a little light breaking and entering.
Approach this task in whatever way appeals to you. If you need any further information on Zacharias, his assistants, or the delivery boys, I'm at your disposal.
Please include a summary of their exploits in a report, which should be posted by AUGUST 31ST. Said report can be written by either of both of them, whatever y'all decide.

Loki + Abby will be charged with painting the Chantry sun on the exterior of three locations across Antiva City: They do not have to accomplish this all in one night, and are encouraged to spread out their work as needed depending on the city guard response. They are also encouraged to paint the Chantry sun anywhere else they see fit, so long as the coast is clear, and enlist any local help they can, so long as they are not identified as Riftwatch agents in doing so.
The trademaster, Giusi Loreto, typically works very late into the night. He is known to fall asleep at his desk, unless he has an appointment that draws him out of the office in the afternoon or early evening.
The main city square has a patrol of city guards who pass through at regular intervals. They aren't specifically guarding the square, but it is a convenient point for guards to cut through on their way to other parts of the city included in their patrols. The good news is their loops can be timed, and they can be drawn away to other parts of the city to attend to disruptions, keeping them from cutting through the square.
The stone entryway to the market district follows the same type of guard rotation as the city square. It's also not uncommon for merchants to linger at their stalls, discussing the day's activities.
Approach this task in whatever way appeals to you. If you need any further information, ie specific descriptions of the locations or details on the city guards, potential NPCs, etc, please holler at me and I'll be happy to oblige you.

The long-running hit Les Chats has arrived on the stage in Antiva City. Ahead of opening night, Richard will be charged with making sure every playbill contains an anti-Tevinter pamphlet. Whether he intercepts the playbills at the printer's shop, or whether he breaks into the theater ahead of opening night is up to his discretion.
The playbills are printed in a nearby shop, run by Nando Stamatis and his seven sons. The shop is attached to their family home, so while the shop is locked up and unoccupied in the evening, the family is never very far away and alert to any noise coming from the shop itself. Observation of the Stamatis family shows that Nando's elderly father has a habit of wandering the house in the wee morning hours, and while he rarely makes it all the way to the shop, it is a possibility.
The Stamatis sons personally deliver the playbills to the theater, where they are left in a storeroom off the main entrance of the theater. There are multiple ways to break into the theater, but ahead of Les Chats several improvements are underway, and the schedule of multiple different handymen is more difficult to pin down. Rehearsals and set building has a tendency to run late into the night as well, though this too seems to be difficult to predict exactly.
Approach this task in whatever way appeals to you. If you need any further information, ie specific descriptions of the locations or details on the city guards, potential NPCs, etc, please holler at me and I'll be happy to oblige you.

Loxley will be given the address of two warehouses within which the incoming cargo, meant to be dispersed among merchants and then taken to market, is stored. All crates must be opened, stuffed with pamphlets, and closed up again. Loxley and friends can attempt to do this all in one night, or it can be done across several nights, depending on his judgement of the situation.
There are two types of guards Loxley will have to evade or distract.
The city guard has designated pairs of guards for each warehouse. They do not leave the warehouses, and the post is spread out over three shifts where one set of guards is relieved by another set of guards, and so on.
Then, inside the warehouse, there are a trio of apprentices from the trademaster's office who are meant to follow the pattern of the guards outside, and sleep in shifts so one person is always keeping an eye on the cargo. However, there is rarely any trouble, so the apprentices have gotten lazy, and are often either all asleep, or all sharing a bottle of wine and playing cards.
It's up to you whether Loxley's observation of the warehouses picks up on the apprentices. The guards are very easily spotted, and they never deviate from their shift rotation.
Approach this take in whatever way appeals to you. If you need further information about the warehouse layouts, the guards, the apprentices, or anything else, please feel free to give me a shout.
Please include a summary of Loxley's exploits in a report, which should be posted by AUGUST 31st

Congratulations, Emet-Selch, you have been tasked with ruining one of Lady Evelina Aurelio's famed salons. Emet-Selch will be charged with displaying a banner over the back balcony of Lady Evelina's home.
A highly anticipated gathering, Lady Evelina regularly welcomes a mix of nobility, nobility-adjacent, artists, poets, merchants, and so on into her villa for dinner prior to an evening of conversation, music, and general exchange of ideas. This particular occasion has an even more intense buzz than usual around it, as several cast members of Les Chats will be in attendance. Rumor has it that the illustrious Jean-Marie Léon, appearing on stage as Roum Toum Tugge, will be joining the festivities.
While the villa itself is massive, Lady Evelina has employed one of the most sought after gardeners in Antiva for the express purpose of cultivating a breathtaking landscape upon which to throw open the doors of her study at a crucial moment and inviting the conversation into the garden itself. Desiring compliments and admiration, Lady Eveline keeps an arrangement of cushions, lounges and otherwise strategically arranged so her guests can take in the shrubbery, foliage and blooms while also in prime position to take in the structure of her home.
Only this time, the hope is that a large banner decrying Antivan trade with Tevinter will be rippling in the breeze.
Actually gaining entry into Lady Evelina's home is not especially difficult. Locks can be picked, or any of the windows in the upper levels of the house (where the staff quarters are located) can be easily breached. However, once inside, there is a substantial risk of bumping into staff if Emet-Selch isn't careful
Approach this in whatever way appeals to you, with however many helpers you so desire. If you would like any further information about Lady Evelina, her staff, or the attendees, please feel free to give me a shout.
Please include a summary of Emet-Selch's exploits in a report, which should be posted by SEPTEMBER 12th.
