It's not a party til someone gets they ass beat

So as I stated on my plurk earlier, Merrick is going to confront Cade at the ball for what he did to Beleth at the Emprise. And by confront I mean beat him into pulp, the good old-fashioned Merrick way. I'm putting this post here so ppl can organize thoughts/reactions, and to hash things out before anything is set in stone.

Right now the plans seem to be that Merrick will attack Cade outside the main part of the ball. It won't be in direct line of sight of any of the visiting nobles, but there will be a chance maybe one or two could see. The spot will be relatively secluded, but if u want your character to witness the raw action then let me know here! Otherwise this is just a general plotting post.

Alayre will undoubtedly question Beleth if she's there to witness the fight and all. However, he'll be approaching her more like a "friend" than a "Templar" this time around. He'll leave the real hard questioning for the Seekers if they choose to do so.

He simply just wants to know if she's alright and whether or not she can talk to Merrick before the Seekers and Advisors do. Who knows how badly this whole thing will blow up at this point.

Alayre really doesn't want anyone else getting mixed up in this mess.
