Welcome to Fade Rift!

We're excited to have you and we hope you're excited to be here! Please use this post and the form below for all your OOC intro needs. We've kept the form pretty basic, more like a plurk friending-type thing, because we're going to have a CR Meme once all apps have been processed where you can expound on plans and character info. In the meantime, make friends, influence people, and get to RPing (if you play a native)! Don't forget to go fill out the Taken and Player Contact pages while you're at it!

Who You Are & What You Like: Hey, y'all! I'm Carley, and I like snakes. Hiss hiss motherfucker. I also like this small child here, Raylan, who simultaneously is a crotchety old man and has the emotional maturity of a nine-year-old. For Fade Rift, his name is actually Raymond, but he couldn't say his own name as a little kid and the nickname stuck. (The mods said I didn't have to change his name, but this story is cute and I like it so I'm keeping it.) Most people don't even know his real name at this point since it's not like he's needed to use his legal name in awhile. Apostasy ahoy~

So yeah I could ramble about him but I guess I should save that for the CR meme. I'm excited to be in a bigger, more plotty game again and look forward to getting to know people!

Hey everybody! I'm Ceej and I've been watching this game for awhile and basically been like this ever since I started watching. ANYWAYS, I just have Henry here who is a sweet summer child who believes in Hope and the power of good beating evil and just thinks the Inquisition is a bunch of heroes. Please prove him wrong. But, seriously, Henry's from a canon about if fairy tales were real called once upon a time and there's a bunch au shenanigans and him being related to like everybody. All in all he just wants to help save the world any way he can. He'll be going by Henry Swan here instead of his last name Mills but that's a superficial change.

Who You Are & What You Like: Welp, I finally caved. After months of being poked about taking a real look at this game (instead of just reading threads that people linked on plurk and popcorning at them all), I gave in. At just the right time to take a crack at Cullen, too, so I lucked out! If the TDM threads I got are anything to judge by, I'm just upset it took me this long. You guys are fun.

Little bit about me: I love to cook. I love potatoes (they are seriously the perfect food). I love to spend time with my dogs. You guys are going to end up hearing a lot about my dogs if you spend any real time talking to me. I'd apologize, but I'm not really that sorry, because they are awesome and adorable. I live in California, I travel a lot for work, but I also do a lot of work from home on a computer with little pockets of downtime, which is great for tagging. My favourite colour is purple. I prefer high heels to flats. I firmly believe that peppermint stick ice cream should be available year round. I love bad zombie movies and can make a very satisfying drinking game out of any cheesy rom-com. Hate coffee, love tea. Change my nail polish at least three times a week. (Anybody else feel like they were filling out an online dating profile when they did this?)

Super excited to be here, especially with Cullen, because I love me some tragic backstory. Particularly when said tragic backstory results in a person who can still function and crack (lame) jokes and be a person. That is my catnip. Can't wait to jump in and get busy here. With that in mind, anyone who has any CR with Cullen, please head over here and take a look.

One more important thing! Would someone please tell me where and why Cullen got a puppy? I just noticed one mentioned in the housing spreadsheet thing. I am not at all against the idea. Not even a tiny bit. I have a pit bull/mastiff mix, and she's basically my big dumb sweet mabari. I just need the details so I know what's up.

Who You Are & What You Like: Hello! So like a few other fellow newcomers in this post, I'm also coming out of a long break from roleplaying. Since I've picked up writing more lately, I think now is a really good time to get back into it, and I'm also just excited to bring Leifang into the Inquisition. I've wanted it for a while! Also, she really needs something better to do.

Besides DA and DOA, I'm just starting to get into a few really big things! I've just about dipped my toe in Marvel comics, and I'm on page ~600 of A Game of Thrones. I know I have a lot to look forward to. I am also a fan of Lara Croft/Tomb Raider 8)

Well? First of all this is my first foray back into DW/journal-style rp after like 5 years so I’m kind of rusty and out of the loop. Please come hold my hand I am EXCITED to find this game though and DA is my entire life rn so there’s that.

Otherwise…I live in the Southern US (CST), I’m 30, and I work about 45 hours a week. Luckily my work is chill though and I’m online a lot when we’re slow.
