MAGICAL TEXTING, IT'S TIME FOR MAGICAL TEXTING!

Starting NOW, thanks to a weird codex entry and the divine blessing of the mods, Salvio is distributing blank books that characters can use to write messages back and forth to one another. Think a little like teen Voldemort's diary in Chamber of Secrets, but less sinister and predatory.

These books will eventually be a fully-fledged alternative form of communication for the rookery comm. The mods will update applicable pages and stuff. Some important notes:

- The current version of the books are raw and unrefined. There is no capability for direct or private messages at this time. You're basically going to be writing on a giant Inquisition message board. Whatever you put up will be seen by everyone within the Gallows. Hand-drawn pictures will also be seen and sent. Messages or pictures written in the books are TOTALLY ANONYMOUS. You'll need to sign your messages with your name if you want it associated with you. Or you can leave it anon. Or you can sign someone else's name. Uh-oh....

- Books are available for pickup at the Base Ops office. You can handwave having picked up a book but if you for whatever reason want to rp what is basically a transaction at the library, you can do an action thread on the post or inbox. Any characters currently in Tevinter will be able to pick one up when they return to Kirkwall.

- Salvio will advise anyone picking up a book that they are not to write about the war or any secret plans because this is still a test phase and who knows what dark forces can spy on magic texting. He will be playing site admin and will sternly lecture anyone who does write about the war (or will get someone capable of being stern to lecture).

- Right now, the ink will fade after about a week's time, so the book won't fill up. Eventually there will be a way to preserve the contents, but that technology will be rolled out with the next update.

- MOST IMPORTANTLY: you can't use the books outside of the Gallows. The magic doesn't work, and the book will become like a regular blank book outside of the Gallows. Please bear this in mind when playing with the books. THIS IS TEMPORARY. The range will be increased at a later date and the books will be usable outside of the Gallows.

Basically this is an excuse to have a big ic anon meme and ic-ly shitpost to your heart's content - but for work, because you're testing new technology. How exciting!
