Who They Are: he's Dorian, you know, from TV! but the abridged version is: Tevinter Altus mage who defected from both country and his family ties to participate in the war against Corypheus, approx. five to six years ago. he had some standing as part of the Herald's inner circle of companions before a whole mountain hit her in the face.
Where They've Been: an agent of the Inquisition out of Skyhold, operating as a researcher, but also a heavy hitter on the field. increasingly the latter as things got hot under the collar and now he'd like to read some books.
What They Want: to punch Corypheus into space, and redeem his homeland from itself.
Plot & CR Desires: anything and everything. also anyone who was around in the Inquisition days (Skyhold edition), whether on or offscreen, hmu for some handwavium CR or reputation sharing. he also has a lot of opinions and loves it when people listen to them.
Anything Else: i'm unionising all of the mustachio'd extroverts now that i have tHrEe oF tHeM.

This month's mod plot in the Fields of Ghislain is going to involve characters doing a wide variety of tasks large and small across the region. In addition to the open log post that will be posted in the next few days, and the specific missions we posted about previously, we're also offering random task and roommate pairings.

If you're interested, you can sign up in the comments below to have your character semi-randomly* matched with someone else to work on a task, or to share quarters for at least some portion of their time in Orlais. You can sign up for tasks, roommates, or both and there's no limit on the number or type of characters you can sign up.

Each task team-up will get a one- or two-sentence prompt for what they’ll be asked to go do together. These will be low-key prompts, not anything terribly involved and they won't require plotting or reports. Each roommate pairing/grouping will also get a sentence or two about the type of quarters they've been placed in.

In either case, you won’t be limited to this match the entire time—you can do as many other threads with as many other people as you want, and you can say that during other parts of the trip they're working on other things and rooming with other people if you'd like. This is just to help encourage mixing up CR with some easy prompts.

(* We’ll adjust RNG results to try to keep characters with similar interests together [see the form] and try to avoid matching characters who obviously already know each other well. But otherwise random.)

CHARACTER
Name: Benevenuta Thevenet

Who They Are: Scandalous lovechild of a prominent Nevarran Knight-General and the Mortalitasi mistress of Tevene origin that he took instead of suitably marrying to provide his estate with an heir, Benevenuta is a second generation Mortalitasi and well established, seasoned courtier, known for her dangerous views on mage politics and whether or not clothing should cover the sternum.
Where They've Been: She joined the Inquisition five years ago and with a year's sabbitical to directly lobby the Nevarran court on their behalf has otherwise been with them since then, until now! She has deigned to join this little backwater outpost alongside Dorian Pavus, due to joint dissatisfaction with the Inquisition's direction.
What They Want: mage citizen rights, Tevinter to get its shit together, to save the world and improve it in the process. Not shirts that button to the neck.
