Where They've Been: She's been all over perusing smuggling contacts, and is a good study of trade routes, embargoes, the exact net worth of a solid gold coconut in over eight cities, etc.
What They Want: $$$$$$$$$$$
Plot & CR Desires: svetlana is here to facilitate plot. You need something valuable? she might be able to get it to you, for a fee. Need to know the quickest way to get something or someone secretly from point A to point B? Need to get rid of stolen goods? Need to know where and when to trade, which routes are blocked, which captains are trustworthy? You get the picture. Svetlana operates on a thin veneer of plausible deniability, helped by not staying in the same place for large swaths of time, which is why she may sometimes be network only.

WHAT? Lady Amelda Araminta Rowan Carolina Sinette Hillingham claims that her bodyguard was poisoned by her no good nephew. She's requested Riftwatch catch him! Amos has been playing bodyguard for her in the meanwhile, and would like to figure out the nature of the accusation so he can get out of this boring babysitting gig. That's where you come in.

WHO? Three people, plus Amos. I'll RNG if there are more than three people signing up.

HOW? This mission won't be logged. Everyone is going to write a mini report in a shared google document (one paragraph minimum, no worries) and characters can argue in the margins about what REALLY happened.

Characters can choose icly what aspect of the 'mystery' they'd like to inspect (the nephew, Hillingham's sick bodyguard, something else entirely?), and how, and write the mini report on it.

If you need help deciding what happens, or more details, I'll obviously give them to you, but feel free to go wild. Differing perspectives or timelines that don't match up is fine. We're Rashomoning a little, here.

POSSIBLE OUTCOMES:

1. If they can prove & agree with Hillingham that her nephew caused this, Hillingham will be intensely grateful to Riftwatch.
2. If they prove that no good nephew is innocent, Riftwatch gain his favor, which might be good when / if he inherits Hillingham's estate.
3. If it turns out that the bodyguard just has bad allergies or something... at least it's over?

If everyone comes to a different conclusion, Amos will act as a tie-breaker.

WHEN: Signups close on Friday the 12th. After that, I'll give us a week to write something up.
