Yo! New player here. My name’s Cobalt (or Avali if you prefer), bringing in a villain from a game that no one in the world aside from like 30 other people played (Not FFXII, that one did better than his current canon point). I’m talking about Dissidia, which was when Square Enix decided kingdom hearts was fun, but what if they did that without Disney and just mixed final fantasy characters with uh....with themselves. Again. 

Wild. 

Anyway he’s a big lad with some big, scary armor, who never takes it off probably because having square enix babeface means no one would ever be terrified of him. 

If you’re tired of my bad jokes, here’s a more serious summary:
 
A lone knight, judge and executioner, Gabranth would be the first to admit he’s a detestable man. Before his death he was hateful, entirely revenge driven, and glued together only by oaths and allegiances. Afterwards....a few minor things have changed: he’s learned how to set aside his anger for the most part, and gave up fighting for unjust causes— unfortunately he still gets a raw deal in the Akashic final fantasy afterlife, and the gods aren’t exactly nice to him for spitting in their faces.
 
That said, think of him as a sponge for malice while he’s here: if he’s soaking up the nastiest possible duties, someone else is free to keep their hands clean.
