Hey guys!

So the threads on Cyril's post about Galadriel's imprisonment have been pretty awesome. Thank you so much, especially to people who had their characters reply with dissenting opinions! :D I've really loved the interactions there.

In general, the posts seem to be leaning towards a formal letter being drafted and sent to the advisors. I have written that letter here and will be posting a link to it in the adviser's inbox.

I'm choosing to go with a link rather than posting the whole letter as a comment there to give you guys the option to have your character sign it. Just go ahead and comment on my post with your character's name to let us know you signed (I left Cy's name in a comment as an example, also because he would sign it himself of course). This will allow everyone who wants to to have their name attached to the letter and will also will clear up clutter in the advisor's inbox.

Please note: I haven't posted the link yet to give you guys time to give me any input you feel your character would bring up before Cyril sent it in. We don't have to RP that, if your character would want something added or taken away before they signed, please just comment here or plurk me at [plurk.com profile] theangstmonkey so we can hash out the details. I plan on posting the letter sometime tomorrow night to keep it timely but to give us some time to talk about things if needed.

Thanks a bunch!

Hello, FR! I have a small proposal for you.

Rachette here is a casteless dwarf who spent some time with the Carta before getting carta'd off to the Inquisition. Ever since, she's been poking at any locked doors or chests or items she can find, because DAO rogues are the most useful class and I pick ALL the locks some habits die really hard. She usually doesn't take anything...but sometimes she does.

I'm curious if you guys have anything in particular that might go missing, either retroactively over the past few months, sometime in the future, or during the ball where most people will be distracted and away all night long.

The sort of items she's looking to swipe tend to be more about use than price. She isn't here to take your priceless family heirloom diamond necklace (but maybe you shouldn't be bringing something like that to this shitty castle, hm?) or to rob you of ALL your coin. Things that look like they'd be of sentimental value she won't deprive anyone of. But if you want a stockpile of blankets to suddenly go missing, or a pair of boots, or a couple of rings of charging bull you were maybe using, or whatever you might like to part with that isn't (obviously) extremely important to go missing...this is your girl.

Feel free to notice. Feel free to not notice. Feel free to catch her in the act, and try to put an end to her lockpicking looting ways. I threw up a post on her journal here where if this is something you might want to play with, just drop a comment.

This might not really go anywhere, and I'm not looking to turn it into a player plot. I just thought it'd be interesting to see if something happens with this idea. Let me know!

Merrick Lavellan (Ashara)
So as I stated on my plurk earlier, Merrick is going to confront Cade at the ball for what he did to Beleth at the Emprise. And by confront I mean beat him into pulp, the good old-fashioned Merrick way. I'm putting this post here so ppl can organize thoughts/reactions, and to hash things out before anything is set in stone.

Right now the plans seem to be that Merrick will attack Cade outside the main part of the ball. It won't be in direct line of sight of any of the visiting nobles, but there will be a chance maybe one or two could see. The spot will be relatively secluded, but if u want your character to witness the raw action then let me know here! Otherwise this is just a general plotting post.
