Please make sure you add war table assignments and any player plots with plot impact/wide relevance to our Calendar so everyone knows when things are happening!
Activity Rewards Revamp
We have a fresh new Activity Rewards page and a lot of new rewards posted. Some highlights include an anchor upgrade, Fade-touched materials for crafting, sugar/coffee/tea, and a bunch of spooky first-come first-served odds and ends.
We're going to take a stab at updating the Rare Finds section seasonally, so the items currently listed there will be available until the end of November. Then we'll switch to winter/holiday/etc. themed rewards instead. So if you're interested in these items or have any suggestions for wintry rewards for next time, say something before December 1!
IC News Volunteers Reminder
If you missed the earlier announcement of the new way we're approaching IC news, check it out. The shuffled lists of volunteers are also linked there now, and we'll be sending out our first bits of news shortly.
IC & PLOT UPDATES
This is the third month of our three-month cycle, which means the major mod plot is happening later this month! We'll be returning to Nevarra to address the potential civil war brewing there and the lingering possibility of Venatori interference in the Grand Necropolis—which the Inquisition is still largely blamed for damaging a couple years ago. By now characters will be aware that Riftwatch is concerned about the situation there and looking for a way to prevent civil war. Keep an eye out for an IC news update soon!
Several ongoing war table assignments and player plots could have an influence on how things ultimately unfold, so make sure you file reports for those things by their deadlines (if they have them) or by October 15 at the absolute latest so we have time to figure out if and how to incorporate them. Reports should be filed on the rookery comm using the form provided in the pinned top post. If you've run a player plot that could affect Nevarra but wouldn't be officially reported, drop us a line via mod contact to let us know the outcome.
Lastly, some aspects of participation during this mod plot will be based on the division that characters belong to, so check the taken list and make sure your character's division is correct. If your character isn't a member of Riftwatch and doesn't have a division listed, they may not be able to participate, so this would be a good time for them to formally join up and start helping. (Unless they're in jail.)
War Table Missions
In the meantime, war table missions are hopefully under way! Make sure you get in a report by the deadline, or let us know if something has come up and you need more time. Reports should be filed on the rookery comm using the form provided in the pinned top post and tagged with the relevant division and/or project.
