hi kids
as a part of his ongoing defense mechanism to existence, tony will be making a point of scouting out rift activity and using some local methods of scientific measurement to gain understanding around anchor-shard interaction with rifts. this is data gathering, so he will either be tagging along with people intending to go out already, or forming up his own groups of literally anyone willing to do the work.
this is a post looking for people who want to join in, both in a handwaved cr capacity or onscreen at your liesure. there will be several excursions of this ilk!
dream participants include:
obviously other people with likeminded scientific curiousity, researchers, mages, etc.
people with anchor-shards available to help provide readings and also actually close rifts
people with Big Swords or Magic Fire to take care of the demon problems while tony ducks behind a bush and takes readings, and probably participate in arguments about how long the rift needs to stay open
some poor person/s bullied into and willing to take tony's notes for him.
end result is mostly just some reporting and sharing findings, but also friendship.
comment here if you're keen, indicate if you're down for handwaved/scening something/both, and a little of what your character would like to do.
