Name: Emmrich Volkarin (and Manfred)

Who They Are: A necromancer from the Necropolis in Nevarra, a mage driven by compassion, kindness, and fear, and his little skeletal companion Curiosity.

Where They've Been: Emmrich's been in Nevarra cleaning up the undead mess, and he's spent most of his life in Nevarra City and the Necropolis. He's traveled a little, but mostly he's been down there teaching and working with the dead, undead, and spirits.

What They Want: He wants to help, teach, encourage, and watch, while not dying.

Plot & CR Desires: Everything. I've apped him because I need more of Emmrich and Bioware won't be giving that to me, so necromancy things, magic things, adventure things, friends, conflict, people who want a skeleson to run tea parties, students, research buddies, all of it.

Anything Else: I'm gonna be introducing Emmrich during the Nevarra plot that's coming up since that makes more sense than him showing up from Nevarra and then whee, right back to Nevarra. Hit me up if you'd like to pre-establish some CR from the recent trip Riftwatch made to the Necropolis or something else! We can also be flexible with keeping TDM threads/shifting them up a bit based on whatever the upcoming plot entails.

Who They Are: A seven foot tall Qunari (Vashoth) lady with a big ol' axe and a (lyrium) heart to match. In desperate need of an ice cold beer and a hug. First she'll need to see someone who knows about lyrium-based devices. Thankfully Riftwatch has all the experts.
Where They've Been: Enslaved in Tevinter by Zariel, a magister of the Venatori. She's spent the past ten years in Seheron fighting the Qunari. She recently had an opportunity to escape, so she ran and hasn't looked back. Fortunately, Riftwatch has got a good reputation for taking in people like her. Unfortunately, Zariel wants her back and has put a troublesome bounty on her head, so if you want to get into a tussle, keep an eye out for a log starter dealing with that + spanking a few bad guys on her metaphorical tail.
What They Want: A FUCKING HUG, PLEASE
Plot & CR Desires: About to bother the Research team within an inch of their lives. Her heart is an unstable device completely powered by lyrium. Currently, she's running so hot that simply touching her is dangerous. Beyond that, Karlach's a genuinely kind and outgoing soul who desperately needs people to care for.
Anything Else: Karlach is a Thedas-flavored AU of her home canon. If you're not familiar with her, you don't have to be! I won't be going into any spoilers for the game. Even her "canon point" is a mirror of the game's beginning.

Name: Sylvie Laufeydottir

Who They Are: The Variant Loki, now Sylvie, taken from her home as a child she's been running circles around the omniscient fascist time police (the TVA) who have been hunting her for a thousand + years. After running her mission to ground and freeing the multiverse (and losing her Loki in the process), she's found herself in Thedas! Sylvie has some serious issues and is not used to any kind of sustained relationships at all, having lived in nothing but apocalypses most her life and fighting for her life when she wasn't. She is an Enchantress, which means she has the ability to control the mind and body, a skill she's kept in Fade Rift! This can make things SUPER complicated, and I will never have her succeed at enchanting anyone without express permission beforehand!

Sylvie is the goddess of mischief, sassy and prickly and difficult to get close to, she shares many personality traits with her variant. She wants to trust and connect, and unlike Loki, has no delusions of grandeur. Her anger and need for revenge motivated her most her life, and she'll be pretty untethered now in this world where everything goes one day at a time and there's no actual running from it.

Where They've Been: A million worlds, across a thousand timelines; Sylvie has been incredibly well traveled. 

What They Want: She genuinely does not know. 

Plot & CR Desires:  I'm very much looking forward to playing in this world and seeing how CR is developed in natural and over time. Getting Sylvie involved in the world, building connections and learning to deal with the consequences and benefits of having people know and remember her for more than a few hours (and then dying, and repeating).
